WALT DISNEY CO. (NYSE: DIS)

Goldman Sachs expects Disney shares to come under pressure this quarter. Goldman predicts a 65% drop in earnings, to 9 cents a share, about 3 cents below the current consensus forecast.

AOL TIME WARNER (NYSE: AOL)

AOL TW was hit with a suit alleging its AOL unit charged thousands of customers for merchandise that was declined but was sent to them anyway. The suit may gain class-action status.

RCN CORP. (NASDAQ: RCNC)

RCN reportedly refused to make a $645,000 payment to Chicago public access station CAN-TV that was due under a contract signed in late 2000. Separately, RCN agreed to provide fiber rings in New York and Washington for Qmedia Inc.

MOTOROLA (NYSE: MOT)

The AFL-CIO urged Motorola to reject the nomination of Ronnie Chan, an Enron director who serves on that company's audit and finance committees.
