Never has the boxing industry's shortage of good heavyweight fighters been more apparent than when Viewer's Choice said last week it'll produce a PPVcast called BattleBots World Championship: Bot Bowl.
Shot from a major robotic competition in Las Vegas Nov. 17, the Jan. 29 event carries a suggested retail of $14.95.
Combatants include Toe Crusher, who features a hammer-like appendage, Killerhurtz, who wields an ax, and Scorpion, is replete with iron tentacles and legs.
In addition to deploying their own destructive devices, the robots must navigate booby traps on the arena's floor and on plexi-glass walls. Whee!
