Letter to the Editor
Underserved Enterprises

Laura:
I wanted to thank you for your editorial in the April edition of Communications Technology on the small- and medium-enterprise (SME) market.

Our company has developed software and a process to identify all commercial units within a system and their relationship to the cable plant. Over the past three years, we have completed over 400,000 units nationwide for a few MSOs. Unfortunately, it has been an uphill battle to get the MSOs? attention and have them focus on this underserved market segment. However, the ones that have moved in this direction have seen a dramatic increase in revenue with minimal capital costs. In addition they have decreased their installation time and installation costs.

I appreciate you giving this issue some press and bringing it to the attention of the industry. Let?s hope the industry will start listening.

? Doug Jensen
Managing Director, Jensen Communications Corp.
