LOWE AND NEILL CLICK IN TNT'S ?FRAMED?

TNT's new original movie, Framed, starring Rob Lowe and Sam Neill and set to air April 13, is essentially a buddy movie. Lowe plays a New York City cop and Neill a money launderer for the Russian mob. Neill shows Lowe the good life while in a very cushy version of the witness protection program, and the two bond during long interrogations that touch on gourmet food and fine clothing. The plot revolves around a test of their emerging friendship: Will the good guy sell out the bad guy, or will the bad guy frame the good guy? Lowe and Neill have good chemistry, and there are enough surprises to keep a large audience of 18-to-49-year-olds tuned in until the end.

?HOLLYWOOD HIGH? A BIT OF A BUMMER

A little boost of something ? even, maybe, fresh air ? might have helped the filmmakers liven up Hollywood High, a new documentary that will premiere on AMC March 31. Hollywood High covers films about drug use, films made for an audience that's on drugs, films made by people on drugs and films that act like drugs themselves. Hollywood figures such as John Waters, Cheech Marin and Willem Dafoe are among those interviewed. Hollywood High is informative, with memorable scenes from such movies as Reefer Madness, The Man With the Golden Arm, Up in Smoke, Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Trainspotting, but is just a bit too sober in tone.
