AOL TIME WARNER

AOL Time Warner unit AOL Hong Kong terminated its ISP operation in Hong Kong, leaving an undisclosed number of subscribers to fend for themselves in finding a new ISP.

AT&T WIRELESS

AT&T Wireless will buy out British Telecom's stake in Rogers Wireless Communications in a $380 million all-cash transaction. AT&T Wireless' stake in Rogers will increase to 34% from 19%.

LUCENT

Beating out Nokia and Motorola, Lucent and Swiss telecom Ericsson jointly won a $600 million contract to expand the mobile phone network in Saudi Arabia.

MOTOROLA

A slide in Motorola's business led to a revamped outsourcing deal with Flextronics International giving Flextronics less work than anticipated. Also Motorola will not invest $100 million in Flextronics as originally planned.
