CABLE WORLD STAFF
Music's top talent will travel to the world's most ancient locations, where their acoustic performances will comprise "Music in High Places," a 12-series TV and Internet special. "Music in High Places" bows exclusively on DirecTV in October with a major cable network debut slated for January 2001. Alanis Morissette kicks off the series Oct. 6 in the middle of Navajo Nation's Canyon de Chelly National Monument in Arizona.
