The agreement follows three successful trial campaigns conducted by both companies during 2002.

TWC TO OFFER BWA SERVICE IN SAN DIEGO MARKET

Time Warner Cable will leverage SkyRiver broadband wireless access (BWA) in its San Diego system to help extend its reach into the small-to-medium business market. Time Warner will use SkyRiver's technology and surrounding wireless network to complement its fiber optic and broadband cable network in the region. In so doing, TWC will look to expand its coverage into areas not previously serviced by existing cable modem or T1 availability. SkyRiver's wireless network covers roughly 700 square miles within San Diego County, offering speeds as high as 2.5 Mbps.

Game Show Network (GSN) has introduced a new wireless initiative to enable viewers to interact with its content remotely. The network will kick off the initiative with a text messaging offering powered by GoldPocket Interactive's EM Connect SMS platform. Over time, GSN will expand the initiative, rolling out additional SMS capabilities and advanced services offerings. GSN offers over 65 hours per week of interactive programming.
