Discovery HD Theater GM Clint Stinchcomb preached the gospel of HDTV from the Cable Center's pulpit in Denver last month, trying to turn about 200 local high school and college students into true HD converts.
Featuring a happy hour menu of pizza and pop (what better way to sell to students?), Stinchcomb was taking part in the center's 2004 HD Festival.
Following his talk, which focused in part on various technical formats and challenges in conversion, Stinchcomb premiered the five-part miniseries Arctic Mission.
The Cable Center's festival is set up as an ongoing series showcasing cable's HD programming.
